A recent change in Michigan law means that you can now skip the line on Election Day and vote by mail!

Voting has never been easier with the passage of Proposal 18-3. Now all eligible registered voters in Michigan can request an absentee voter ballot without providing a reason.  You can also request to be placed on the permanent absentee voter list which will allow you to receive an absentee voter application for all future elections.  Visit or call the City of Durand Clerk’s office to request an application prior to any election and request to be placed on the permanent list.  If you have any questions about the process call 989-288-3113.
