The City of Durand is committed to maintaining access to important public documents including annual budgets, audits, and regular minutes of its Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts. The City's Downtown Development Authority has an active TIF that funds its annual activities. If you have questions about our Downtown Development Authority please contact the City Clerk's Office.
The DDA district has one recurring contract for downtown hanging flower baskets. This contract is typically bid out and awarded in January of each year for delivery in May.

Flower Basket Bid: Campbell's Greenhouses
Synopsis of Activities: During FY 18/19 the DDA funded its regular beatification efforts which include the downtown hanging baskets. The DDA also supported, through a partnership with the local chamber of commerce, a recurring outdoor music event known as Wednesday Night Live. During the holiday season the DDA dedicates funding to host the Santa's Light Parade. No major capital projects or new investments were funded other than regular maintenance of existing assets.
